The E023 Electric Opening Skylight is smarter than ever with numerous ways to operate. This model is compatible with the 'Smart Life' mobile application, which means you can control your skylight seamlessly from your smartphone or voice command via smart devices such as Alexa, Google Assistant and others. You will never have to worry about rain or snow with our Solar Powered Wireless Rain Module Sensor which will automatically close your skylight at the slightest droplet. Also included are the Wireless Remote Control and Wired Wall Switch module, which will look great in any home with their sleek design and LED backlights.
Our RAL 7016 grey, marine-grade aluminium frame now fully conceals the commercial grade actuator motor and has been updated to include an integrated thermal brake. A thermally broken skylight design creates a physical barrier between internal and external temperatures, reducing heat intake in the summer, while retaining the warmth in the winter. The aluminium frame has a sleek, modern look that will enhance the overall aesthetic of your skylight and your home. Maintenance time is minimal as aluminium is strong, highly durable and resistant to both rust and corrosion.
The included Smartguard self-cleaning coating creates a smooth barrier on the outside pane of glass, which prevents build up of pollutants and helps rain droplets to wash them away. Self-clean glass coating is not a substitute for routine maintenance but is the first barrier between the glass and dirt build-up.
The rooflight is easy to install and delivered fully assembled. The innovative frame design allows the skylight to simply slot into place, directly on to the builder's existing upstand. Please note a qualified electrician is required for electrical wiring.

The EO23 Electric Opening Skylight is ‘Smart Life’ phone application.
Once paired with your smart phone, you are granted full control of the rooflight with your smartphone and smart devices, such as Alexa, Google Assistant and others.
Please note a stable WIFI connection with good coverage is required for full operation.
‘Smart Life’ application is run by a third-party provider and we are unable to offer in-depth technical support, troubleshooting or fixes.
Smartphone and smart home issues are not covered by our warranty.

All electrical and wiring work must only be carried out by a qualified electrician.
Installation Overview
Skylight arrives pre-assembled and timber crated.
Internal upstand measurements are rooflight internal measurements + 5mm
You must add a fall of 80mm per 1000mm in accordance with the slope on the roof.
Skylight slots onto builder’s 50mm x 145mm upstand.
Construction adhesive or similar is required to be applied to top of upstand.
Roof covering required to apply to upstand.
The use of arris rail at the bottom of the upstand is recommended.
Warranty Information
All units must be handled, stored, and fixed in accordance with our installation guide.
Any claim must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice.
This warranty covers replacement of parts only. This warranty is available only to Electric Opening Skylights Limited customers only and is non-transferable.
Glazing warranty cover: 20 years
Electrical component warranty cover: 1 year
