Our 70mm x 70mm Easy Fit Timber Kerb is purpose built for each size and is fixed on top of the builder’s upstand, allowing the rooflight to simply slot into place. This drastically speeds up installation time and reduced the timbers required on site by 50%. The main benefit of our Easy Fit Kerb is that it reduces faults caused by improper installation, by ensuring that every rooflight is sufficiently supported by its bottom-pane.
In addition to our easy Fit Kerb, all purchases include our skylight installation pack, with each box containing the following items:
- 1-3x* SOULDAL Soudaseal 215 Low Modulus Sealant.
- 1x Pack of Fixing Screws to attach our Easy Fit Kerb to your upstand.

The measurement we give for the skylight is the internal opening size / structural opening size.
Installation Overview
Skylight arrives pre-assembled and timber crated.
You must add a fall of 80mm per 1000mm in accordance with the slope on the roof.
Skylight with Easy Fit Timber Kerb screws into onto builder’s 70mm x 70mm upstand.
Low modulus silicone required (not included).
Roof covering (not included) required to apply to upstand.
The use of arris rail at the bottom of the upstand is recommended.
Warranty Information
All units must be handled, stored, and fixed in accordance with our installation guide.
Any claim must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice.
This warranty covers replacement of parts only. This warranty is available only to Electric Opening Skylights Limited customers only and is non-transferable.

SmartGuard self-cleaning glass coating
Included at no extra cost. Works with nature to wash away dirt and pollutants
The coating creates a smooth barrier on the outside pane of glass, which prevents build up of pollutants and helps rain droplets to wash them away.
Self-clean glass coating is not a substitute for proper maintenance and cleaning, but is the first barrier between the glass and dirt build-up.
