Laminated Stepped Skylight Overview
This skylight comes with or without a timber kerb and is easily fitted.
The timber rebated kerb is fitted on top of your roof, your roof covering comes up the side of the kerb. Construction adhesive or sealant is applied to the kerb and then the stepped glass unit simply fits into the rebated kerb. The glazed seamless unit is stepped and over hangs the kerb.
We use Smartguard self-clean glass coating technology on the outer pane of the skylight. The coating creates a smooth barrier on the outside pane of glass, which prevents build up of pollutants and helps rain droplets to wash them away. Self-clean glass coating is not a substitute for proper maintenance and cleaning, but is the first barrier between the glass and dirt build-up.
All sizes are internal frame sizes.

The measurement we give for the skylight is the internal opening size / structural opening size.
Installation Overview
Skylight arrives pre-assembled and timber crated.
You must add a fall of 80mm per 1000mm in accordance with the slope on the roof.
Skylight with Easy Fit Timber Kerb screws into onto builder’s 70mm x 70mm upstand.
Low modulus silicone required (not included).
Roof covering (not included) required to apply to upstand.
The use of arris rail at the bottom of the upstand is recommended.
Warranty Information
All units must be handled, stored, and fixed in accordance with our installation guide.
Any claim must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase invoice.
This warranty covers replacement of parts only. This warranty is available only to Electric Opening Skylights Limited customers only and is non-transferable.
